Ferkulum in Cologne

Unfortunately it's not the gyros from before. The meat dry, tzatiki has no taste. Used to be our favorite gyros in Cologne. Unfortunately, the quality is no longer the same as it used to be. Not inedible, but unfortunately not tasty either. Too bad.

Best gyros since I can remember.

We ordered Jägerschnitzel with french fries and extra mayonnaise and paid extra for them. We got a schnitzel with a sauce that contained mushrooms but otherwise had no resemblance to hunter sauce. The mayonnaise was also missing. When I called there to complain, they reacted very snuggly and unfriendly. I was offered to bring me mayonnaise that I no longer wanted it half an hour after we had received our food, but was not understood. This shop is NOT to be recommended!

Very bad and very rude! Objective criticism and suggestions for improvement are responded to in an unconstructive and aggressive manner, that is not possible. Meat was okay, if anything, but definitely not anymore. Hunter sauce has nothing to do with a hunter sauce, except for the mushrooms, which are completely lost in the sour sauce.

Very good gyros ?

We tried Gyro from this place, bread was heated up in the microwave, but overall for the price, the gyro was tasting quite good. Staff wasn’t so friendly. I might look for another place to try next time.

Really very good gyros and good tzatziki. Staff very nice. Only the thick, dark-haired one is always annoying, if he's in then I go on, otherwise really great!

I ordered a Jägerschnitzel menu. On came after 1 hour: Mud Pamp! * Neck hair thrust: How can an experienced restaurateur allow deep-fried or breaded-fried dishes, together with the corresponding sauce, to go out in the same box as delivery to order? Apart from the fact that the shop should know how to pack fries intelligently so that they reach the customer in an edible way. The Jägerschnitzel Sauce is the nightmare come true, of that honest, good cook! I'm just saying (ready-made broth, glucose, starch, flavor enhancer, canned mushrooms) and apart from that, a personal insult to my taste buds! Conclusion: ordered once and never again. I really don't recommend it to anyone whose senses of smart food and taste buds are still intact.

Best gyros in Cologne. The shop is certainly not for the first date, but super iconic, great prices and nice staff.

I'm sitting at home right now, yesterday I was drinking a lot on the Zülpicher. The best, but really best, is to go to the ferkulum in full water, get a gyros ferkulum for a 10, consume half of it and then go home. The next morning there is almost always enough left to have a hangover breakfast. Simply best people live!

Currywurst was almost cold. Too bad. You should be able to warm them up briefly. It was the best snack bar in Cologne 30 years ago.

Every few month we come to this place and have reliably a good gyros. For about the same price you can go to the Habibi that is close by and get a shawarma dish. But if want a simple gyros that really stuffs you the Ferkulum is the place to be.

The food was totally floating in fat. 1.5 hrs for twice Gyros in about 15 min walking distance. Since we paid online we did not cancel. Hungry, money gone, food wasted ... But a friendly driver.

Ordered 0.11 on a Thursday. Delivered at 1:33. Called twice now. Come immediately. Food cold. Large salad plate for 6,50 € see photo. This shop is a joke before the Lord, the person on the phone has hung up on the 2nd call. I'll inform Lieferando, there's nothing to look for there. My opinion. Dirt corrosion. How such reviews come about is a mystery to me ...

Underwhelming gyros pita. Tasteless bread steamed in the microwave, tender meat that lacked caramelization and cabbage salad that wasn't sour enough to stand up to the meat

The Cult takeaway from Cologne ... looks awful of them ?aber who comes to Cologne, once go there ? I enjoyed the food and the chef was very friendly. A disadvantage is .... no toilet ?

Tasty delicious! For 5 * stars more seating is missing and at a price of 9.50 € for gyros, fries I would normally not expect paper plates and plastic cutlery.

Quite ok during the week. Friday and Saturday or on public holidays or carnival, stay away !!!! Meat is partly raw - operation is unfriendly and overwhelmed - hygiene in the shop should be improved.
